Why
this tool?

The organization of major sporting events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games have a major impact in terms of CO2e emissions.

Within these events, it is the spectators who are the primary source of greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for around 75% of the event's CO2e emissions. These emissions come far ahead of accommodation, infrastructure construction, catering and even digital technology.

With “My Supporter Footprint”, in just five minutes, assess your carbon footprint, discover concrete actions to reduce it and contribute to low-carbon sporting events.
